I like to talk to the boss to the CEO, to the Director I like to talk to the man Something is not right I like to talk to the Mayor to Minister, to the President and the Queen, about the powers, and the powers, and the power-less But mostly I just end up – talking to Birds TALKING TO BIRDS I like to talk to my father to my mother, to my brothers to all the ones alive and I like to talk to you I like to talk to that girl to a good friend I like to talk to strangers I like to talk to many! I’m ‘talkative’ But mostly I just end up – talking to Birds TALKING TO BIRDS When I talk they Flick their wings Tweak their heads And curiously look you straight into your eyes After a good chat – listen to how we sing I like to talk to a priest – about his delusion to the devil – about his deeds to God – about his absence Hi there Jesus – come down for a chat Let’s walk – the talk with Buddah and Muhammed Scientist have tried, so have the rationality and hope But we can’t seem to make them listen So welcome to you – the boss of the Pope I get claustrophobic by all those closed minds And end up talking to birds And I’ve been talking to trees Been buzzing with bees and barking with dogs (I like straight talk!!) They listen, To what the heart has to say They are not afraid to read What the eyes are telling Listen - Together we sing: Please help us!

Do you find yourself a Kiwi, bound to the ground? Raise your voice and sing out loud Make yourself a bird Open your wings and fly away Bring that Birdy (bring back) Bring back birdy, (bring back) bring that song back From there, down and under to the top of the world From the liberated hearts, to the hopeful souls Make yourself megaphone Open your mouth and scream out your heart Sing of the colors Sing of the wonders Sing of the hearts Sing for this loving, living planet Sing it out load Bring that birdy, (bring back) bring that song back Bring back birdy, to sing that song for us Bring that birdy, (bring back) bring that song back Bring back birdy to sing, that song for us Sing of the courage Sing of the struggle Sing of the blood Sing for this loving, living planet Bring that birdy, (bring back) bring that song back Bring back birdy, (bring back) to sing that song for us

Do rich people feel the same way as I do? Do they feel happy, do they feel love, do they feel the heat and cold? Do rich people have many pairs of shoes? I guess not, what would they do with those? With only 2 feet and 10 toes Do rich people walk far every day? I guess so, big city is far from here But still they only got 2 feet for their shoes But who am I to say how far the rich make on foot? Maybe life is telling them – to take many steps On 2 feet with shoes Do the rich people feel the same way as we do? It’s difficult to catch their thoughts, to see their eyes Is that Cause I can’t read and write? But once I read that heart of sorrow She gave me bread; maybe she’ll be the one To take me home tomorrow We are so very different – the rich and us Even more so than black and white, More apart than right and wrong But we are all breathing, we are breathing The same air I wish I could to try to be rich, To learn their secrets and what makes them tick In the end I may just return to be me Shoeless but with 2 feet that are free
4.
It is time to wake up The sun is shining – straight into your eyes Open them up! And see the beauty – of the planet Earth The only one of its kind – a pale blue dot – As far as we can See – how the seed is planted To grow a future on a different set of values – Join the crowd on the move Take courage to forge Embrace the culture of Change! Change your culture Change your path Clean your head And think with your heart Change your culture Change your path Change your mind, and Change your heart

Moving on 04:23
Don’t like your shoes Just buy some other ones Don’t like your look Just buy another one Don’t like your face Just buy another one Don’t like your life Yeah, Just buy another one Maybe your shoes are to small Maybe life to big for you Who is to blame For you head getting thick and your heart loosing flame? Do you really want a change? Or just find another excuse to remain the same The world is spinning and you are it How could all you touch turn in to shit? Maybe, just blame gravity – and avoid being free So you say; It is time to move on Leave all behind To get a new bike To get a new wife To get a new life And your own personal ‘castle in the air’ Get a new life Get a new life Get, get, get – the thumb out of your ass! The world is poor, and you are a shit Is that all there is to it? Maybe you are the gravity? – is that what you want to be? Do you really want a change? Or just having fear for all things remaining the same So, you’ve joined the cult of moving on Leaving the joy all alone Running around In search for greener pastures – you may be loosing your heart Why not just stop? Look around for a while – discover that secret smile Take a look around - what do you see? Don’t like your shoes Feel the grass with out them Don’t like your look Read another magazine Don’t like to change Look into your past Don’t like your wife Look into her eyes Don’t like you life Anyway, you’ll be staying here for a while (So say; ) It is time to a stay put Nurture what there is Rock the core Grab the day Life the joy Is it time to leave? Or is it time to live?
6.
When my thoughts Drifts through times that has past I feel pain - and die - a little again (bit) and kill those moments Of beauty That was so hard to find When my eyes See happiness I feel sad And die a little again By the hand of the great design Keeping goodness locked in a box And I forget that’s one way - To stop Seeing those tears Of justice being sacrificed By righteous powers Of men Leaving a hole in hearts When I see your Hearts - screaming out load and clear I close my eyes when we die a little again (And together we die – a little again) It is killing the living It is stealing your breath And I’m - just out looking for a little pill – to take it away Please, take me away I always believed that sunshine and air Belonged to all For each of us a share And I believed that the past Belonged to the past And that life was for the living But we die, and we die, Again, and again Please take away the pain
7.
It’s so lonely here to day Everybody left but I had to stay But I can still - see them over there Living in this artificial sphere It is a kind of bubble Built on shit and 911 rubble They bought feeding tubes for their eyes To find pleasure in all those lies They got feeding tubes straight into their hearts Injecting simulated happiness Or maybe there is something matter with me ? – being the one that’s unhappy
8.
Do you think that life is too big? Do you find your soul is too small? Like that insect’s stuck on the wrong side of the road In this world where size does matter Crossing over may turn you into splatter For what? Apart for being alive I’m hiding out in that safe little hole Things look big and scary when you are too small But the world is spinning anyway I’m an alien that’s not very brave Out looking for - another spaceship – to take – me - away We are the screw-ups Trying to unscrew and open up Life’s a gamble with your heart The rules state you got to play your part So it got buried down, you see – I am pretty smart Now when it peaks out wanna see the light Its painful, it is too bright! Lock it up - through the key away The world is spinning away Hold on to your love if you wanna stay Or maybe it is for best that we just go away… We are the screw-ups Wanting to unscrew and open up We are the weirdoes Trying to undo and redo
9.
We got the spring With all its romances We have summers That brings us light And the autumn with all its yields the winters to get us closer together We got flowers - we got trees We got cold showers and we get flees We got sunshine, and rain and all kinds of weather But what will we get – after the ice After the Ice We got flowers we got trees We got warm showers and we get flees We got sunshine, and rain and all kinds of weather But what will we get – after the ice After the ice mmmm Farwell…. I hope for hearts – warmed by the seas Like a lonely one I know – praying for release To let the love - out of the cold Before it grows to bitter and to old The sun is starting to show its heat And life as we know it - is put into retreat Oh dear Gaia – what will be you price? To give us a new chance - After the ice After the ice

Rebel for your heart – this is a battle Watch our hearts as they grow - into becoming FeelSome And the power will not be alone, for long

A heart is beating and, The head starts spinning Death is cheating and and you cant seem to win Then it starts to rain Those are tears of pain It is raining inside It is raining It is raining It is raining inside And when it is raining inside It start to pore down outside A soul storm light turns red BACKING: Its raining Its raining Its raining outside It is raining It is raining It is raining inside It is raining It is raining Soul storm - turns red Are you looking - for your umbrella? Grease for your heart – to make it water repellent? But there is no defense Cause it doesn’t make any sense To let the world drown in torrential rain And its raining and its raining and raining in Shanghai And when it is raining in the east The west releases its beast And there is a draught in Africa BACKING: It is raining It is raining It is raining Shanghai It is raining It is raining It is raining in Africa IT IS RAINING HERE IT IS RAINING THERE BUT NOTHING GROWS CAUSE THE ATMOSPHERE IS FUCKED

Catch that thought Before it leaves for the planets Grab that thought Before distracted by Venus Keep that though tight Away from the gravity of Jupiter Or it disappears into that deep space black hole... Oh, no The Flying saucers Are landing on your head Taking that moment of clarity - away Trouble again on this pale blue dot Heads fills up with junk and pot

Whakaraahia! 02:27
This is a whakaaraara-pa, or night sentinel chant of the famous Rauparaha's Ngati-Toa warriors, a song composed on the west coast of the North Island, and bearing in its ringing words memories of the surf-beaten coasts of Mokau and the lofty cliffs of South Kawhia:— Whakaarahia! Whakaarahia! E tenei pa! E tera pa! Kei apitia koe ki te toto. Whakapuru tonu, Whakapuru tonu Te tai ki Harihari. Ka tangi tiere Te tai ki Mokau. Kaore ko au E kimi ana, E hahau ana, I nga pari ra Piri nga hakoakoa, E kau oma tera. Ka toa atu tera Ki tua. E-l-a ha-ha! Ka ao mai te ra Ki tua. E—i—a ha-ha! (Translation.) Arise, arise, O soldiers of the fort! Of this pa and of that, Lest ye go down to death. High up, high up, the thundering surf On Harihari's cliffs resounds, And loud the wailing sea Beats on the Mokau coast. And here am I, on guard, Seeking, searching, peering, As on those rocky crags The sea-hawk sits And watches for his prey, Oh! dauntless be. Soon will the sun Rise flaming o'er the world!

about

"Prepare to be taken on a spiritual journey with the debut album from Cybiont, named ‘A Trilogy Of Random Thoughts & Considerations’. It’s a unique collection filled with just that - bursting at the seams with imagination, and an obvious love for life and all its experiences." - Amanda Ratcliffe, www.muzic.net.nz

NME- Europe: 'A Trilogy Of Random Thoughts And Considerations' (rating 8/10)
Now the sort of music on show here is not the sort of thing I usually go for, but I must admit that I've been really impressed by what I've heard. So what about this triology then? Well, to begin with, it's a bold project for a debut - 19 tracks divided into three parts, is not a simple way to introduce yourself, but you soon get the feeling that Cybiont is not simple at all. nme-europe.blogspot.com/search/label/Cybiont

Graham Reid - www.elsewhere.co.nz
Ambitious -- and musically so too: there is what sounds like woodblock and synth percussion under the edgy Do the Rich?; later there are echoes of early Nick Cave in the gloomy cabaret-noir stylings; stuttering guitars and portentous sounds like Velvet Underground; prog-rock and declaimed lyrics; unnerving Pere Ubu-type sonics; some Cirque du Soleil-meets-te reo . . .

"In his debut album, this New Zealander successfully combines an array of music styles into a creamy blend of planetary soup"
-Pappa Toe
